TTI Arms Surprise: They changed from 2007 to 2008
Before even sending my shocks, I learned while reading some forums that X shocks will not bolt up to a 2007 Renegade. Can-Am sells the X shock package as an aftermarket add-on and it's listed as 2008+ models only (the kit neigbours 2000$ by the way). I almost cancelled the deal but then I realized the only major difference is a gusset on each TTI arm (the rear suspension "beams", the grey "box").

A few solutions flew through my head. First off, I figured I could probably buy arms for a 2008 model and install them on my 2007, this would be the cleanest solution but for some reason, I was expecting a very high bill for this so I didn't check it through immediatly. My first idea was actually to bring my quad to a welder friend and have him gusset my 2007 arms. I ended up calling the dealer "just to see" and I was very surprised to find out the arms were under 200$ CND each (I found them for as low as a 130$ in the US but shipping + customs would have made it pretty even). So I ordered a pair of 2008 Renegade X TTI arms from my dealer while the shocks were in the mail.

When they got here, I had the dealer swap my TTI arms. I initially wanted to do this myself, but I had issues getting one of the special tools required for the job. I realized later that there were other special tools required for the job that I didn't have access to, so it would have been an epic failure anyway.
